Using accounts from the Bible to help children understand God’s character and abstract theological truths, Kid’s Quest uses music, games, art, written activities, and a lot of repetition to help children memorize the answers to the Children’s Catechism.
2nd– 5th Grade Girls (Rm 101)
2nd– 4th Grade Boys (Rm 104)
We will discover that prayer is more than a recitation or a wish list. It’s part of a vital relationship with God. Join us as we understand the concept behind the Lord’s Prayer: The holiness of God, God’s provision, importance of forgiving as well as being forgiven.
5th – 12th Grade Girls (Rm 106)
5th – 12th Grade Boys (Rm 107)
What does the Bible say about peer pressure? Why do we get talked into doing things we don’t want to do, or even things we know is wrong? How can combat the temptation we face from wanting to please other? Join the Youth boys or girls groups as we navigate issues surrounding peer pressure, rejection, and the desire to be liked. Leaders will be leaning heavily on Ed Welch’s book, “What Do You Think of Me? Why Do I Care?”
THE HOLE IN OUR HOLINESS
Young Adults (Rm 105)
What does it look like to grow in holiness? Are we called to exert effort, or does that go against grace? Does it seem like you keep taking one step forward and two steps back in your walk with Christ? Join with the Young Adult group on Wednesday nights as they discuss growth grace by studying Kevin DeYoung’s book, “The Hole in our Holiness.” Contact Pastor Dan if you need a book.
PRAYER MEETING (Senior Pastor’s Office)
Charles Spurgeon called prayer meeting “the engine room of the church.” Wed. Night Prayer helps power the rest of Redeemer’s ministries as we boldly approach the throne of grace to pray for the members, ministries, and mission God has entrusted to us. Join us in the Senior Pastor’s office for this time of conversation and communion with God together.
Adult Bible Study (Sanctuary)
We all get one life to live and deep down we’re all asking the same question – what’s it all about? The message at the heart of Christianity is pretty simple. It’s all about one life, the life of Jesus, and it can be summed up in the answers to three questions: Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus come? What does it mean for us? Whether you want to find the answers to these questions or help others answer them, this study is for you. Join Pastor Jonathan for this video presentation and small group discussion.
