What does friendship have to do with being a Christian? How can we have good friendships? The Boys and Girls Middle and High School Groups will be joining together this semester to talk about the importance of friendships in the Christian life. We will also be involved in the Pinewood Derby at the end of the semester.
WHAT IS A HEALTHY CHURCH MEMBER?
Young Adults (Rm 105)
Does church membership function like a membership at Costco or the YMCA, or is there something deeper meant to be going on? The Young Adult Group will be focused on what it means to participate in the life of the church as they read the book “What is a Healthy Church Member?” by Thabiti Anyabwile this semester.
PRAYER MEETING (Senior Pastor’s Office)
Charles Spurgeon called prayer meeting “the engine room of the church.” Wed. Night Prayer helps power the rest of Redeemer’s ministries as we boldly approach the throne of grace to pray for the members, ministries, and mission God has entrusted to us. Join us in the Senior Pastor’s office for this time of conversation and communion with God together.
ART OF PARENTING
Wed. Night Adult Bible Study (Sanctuary)
Every parent needs help and encouragement along the way. There’s too much at stake to try to handle the job on your own. Family Life’s “The Art of Parenting” is based on decades of teaching from Dennis and Barbara Rainey and features insights from other notable parenting advisors. This small group series highlights the core issues that every parent and child need to address together.
