God has blessed his church with the offices of elder and deacon. Through their ministry and leadership, Jesus Christ shepherds and cares for his people. Christ has blessed Redeemer Church by raising up men to serve in these leadership roles. Below are the men currently serving as elders at Redeemer Church.

REV ERIC HAUSLER
SENIOR PASTOR
In the summer of 1998, the core group of families with a vision to start an OPC church in Ada extended a call to Pastor Hausler to come as their church planter and organizing pastor. Eric, his wife Donna, and their four sons—Micah, Tim, Joey and Daniel—then moved to Ada from Naples, Florida, in November of 1998.
Eric received a B.A. from the University of Kansas in International Politics and Latin American Studies in 1983, received his M.Div. from Westminster Seminary in California in 1989, was ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) in 1990, and transferred into the OPC in 1998. Pastor Hausler is grateful to the Lord for giving him the privilege of shepherding the flock at Redeemer from its infancy to this very day, preaching the Gospel of grace found in Jesus Christ week after week. Eric loves swimming, gardening and anything to do with Haiti and the Haitian people!
REV JIM MONG
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Jim came to Redeemer in 2008. He is married to Susannah, and they have four children, Selina, Ryle, Shea, and Keanan. He attended Reformed Theological Seminary and Knox Theological Seminary, earning a degree from Knox in 2006. Jim enjoys working with people of all ages and considers it a privilege to labor in the Word and prayer. His hobbies include playing most sports, following University of Michigan football, and reading biographies.

Phil was ordained as an elder in 2011. He is married to Judy and they have four children, Emma, Abigail, Benjamin and Levi. He is a tax attorney at Amway and enjoys sports, traveling and being outside with his dog.
DR. RANDY BAKER
ELDER

Randy was ordained in 2011. He and his wife Dawn have nine children and live in Ada. Randy graduated from Calvin College and Albany Medical College and works as a surgeon. He enjoys playing the piano and singing gospel music with his family.
DR. DAVID NOE
ELDER

David was ordained in 2004 at Bethel OPC in Leesburg, Virginia. He and his wife Tara have four children, Freddie, Jillian, Lucius and Sophia. David is a professor of Classics at Calvin College, and serves on the Presbytery's Candidates and Credentials Committee as well as on the General Assembly's Committee for the Historian.
SKIP PYLMAN

Skip was ordained as an elder in 2001. He and his wife Jan have been married for 34 years. They have two children, Bradley Daniel (born 9/14/80 and died 3/14/03) and Daniel Jonathan, now married to wife Leigh and living in Chicago. Skip is a lawyer with the firm Gruel, Mills, Nims, and Pylman, and he enjoys bicycling, reading, hunting and fishing.
TODD RESTER
ELDER
CLASS OF 2014
Todd was ordained an elder in 2011. He and his wife Amy have four young children and live in the Ada area. Todd is a doctoral candidate in Historical Theology at Calvin Theological Seminary, a Scaliger Fellow (2010) at Leiden University, and received an M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary (Jackson) in 2006. He currently works as a contract translator of 16th-18th century exegesis, theology, and philosophy for a variety of organizations, societies, and publishers. Todd and his wife enjoy biking, hiking, and travelling with their children.
HOWARD TEFFT
ELDER

Howard was ordained as an elder in 2008. He and his wife Audra, along with their three daughters, Kayla, Rebecca and Sarah, live in the Clarksville area. Howard is a Distribution Supervisor for Amway Corporation and enjoys camping, fishing and helping with handyman-type projects.
TOM VERHAGE

Tom was ordained as an elder in 2006. He is married to Carla and they have four grown children and nine grandchildren. He is a graduate of Michigan State with a degree in horticulture and works as a landscaper. Tom enjoys all types of outdoor activities, spending time with his kids and grandkids, and working with people.
